DMARC Checker
Inspect the public DMARC policy and aggregate-reporting configuration for an email domain.
Understand the policy
DMARC connects authentication to the domain people see in From. The p tag requests none, quarantine or reject handling. A policy record alone does not prove that your legitimate senders authenticate and align.
Move from observation to enforcement
Inventory sending services, confirm aligned SPF or DKIM, and review aggregate reports. Start with observation when you are unsure of your legitimate mail sources, then adjust policy after validating them.
Fix a missing record carefully
Publish a TXT record at _dmarc.your-domain using your intended policy and a reporting address you control. Check for duplicate records and syntax errors. This lookup summarizes the record; it does not perform a complete DMARC validator or send mail.
Common questions
Is p=none a failure?
It requests monitoring without a DMARC enforcement action. It can be an intentional rollout stage, but it does not request quarantine or rejection.
Does this checker read my reports?
No. It shows the configured rua value. Report collection and analysis are separate.
